PAUL PETER NICOLAI, B.A., J.D., is a graduate of American International College, Western New England College and holds a certificate from the Harvard University Law School Program of Instruction for Lawyers. He is a member of many professional organizations including the District of Columbia Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, American Bar Association, Association of the Bar of the City of New York and the Federal Circuit Bar Association. He has served in a number of ABA leadership positions and is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. He has been listed as a Best Lawyer in America® for Commercial Litigation for several years and is listed in multiple editions of Who’s Who, including Who’s Who in the World.

Attorney Nicolai is licensed to practice in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, New York and Washington, D.C. and many Federal Courts including the US Tax Court, Federal Circuit Court of Appeals and the US Supreme Court. He is a member of the American Arbitration Association’s Commercial Arbitration Panel, Commercial Mediation Panel, Employment Arbitration Panel, Employment Mediation Panel, and Large, Complex Case Panel. He is also a FINRA Arbitration Panel member hearing securities cases. He co-chairs the Massachusetts Bar Association Fee Arbitration Board Committee and hears attorney fee dispute arbitrations as a member of the Fee Arbitration Board Panel.

He has heard and decided over 750 cases as an arbitrator or mediator, participated in a number of reported cases, presented hundreds of seminars for business owners and lawyers and published dozens articles in regional and national publications including publications of the American Arbitration Association, American Bar Association and the Massachusetts Bar Association, among others.
