Legislative Advocacy

SBSB is the Voice of American Small Business. Since 1968, the Small Business Service Bureau, Inc. has represented the interests of small business before the U.S. Congress, state legislatures, and regulatory bodies.

SBSB Legislative Council

SBSB members in each state participate in the SBSB Legislative Council expressing the views of the small business community to state and federal lawmakers and regulators. Legislators across the nation welcome this source of information and input from small businesses.

SBSB BULLETIN and Legislative Alerts

Every other month the SBSB BULLETIN updates members on small business issues currently before the U.S. Congress, which affect your business. Special Legislative Alerts arrive to inform members of impending votes of particular importance to your industry or your business.

Your SBSB BULLETIN also includes the Business and Tax Planning Tips every quarter. Written by experienced CPAs, you get current, accurate articles on small business operations and tax planning, information that will save you money.

SBSB Ballot

In each issue of SBSB BULLETIN, members are asked to cast their Ballot on legislative issues important to small business. Members set SBSB's legislative agenda through this Ballot and the annual Member Survey.

SBSB's Annual Member Survey also gathers input about small businesses across the nation and communicates this information to legislators, regulators and the media, giving them the benefit of the views of American Small Business.

As an SBSB member, you and your small business can choose the same quality, money-saving benefits as the country's top companies. Now you have the advantages you need for small business success.
